Srinagar, Oct 16 (KNS): A high level meeting was conducted by Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, today in his office. The meeting was attended by Addl. Deputy Commissioners, Asstt. Commissioner Revenue Srinagar, Sub Divisional Magistrate West Srinagar, District Social Officer, Chief Medical Officer and all Tehsildars of district Srinagar.
It was decided that teams be constituted in all the Teshsils in order to address the menace of braid chopping incidents.
The teams so constituted shall ensure that the medical assistance should be provided to the victims immediately and the report submitted to the higher authorities with the detailed facts heet about each incident in their respective jurisdictions.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
It was also decided that the District Social Welfare Officer Srinagar will provide services of all CDPOs, Tehsils, Social Welfare Officers and Anganwadi Workers with these teams.
CMO Srinagar wiII keep a dedicated doctor with all Tehsildars to ensure timely medical aid to the victims. (KNS)
