BOSE announces class 12th Results: Girls lead with 68 pass percentage

Srinagar, June 09 (KNS): The Board of School Education (BOSE) declared the annual regular results for the 12th standard, revealing an overall pass percentage of 65%.

 

According to BOSE, the pass percentage stood at 61% for boys and an impressive 68% for girls. Out of the total 12,763,6 candidates who appeared for the exams, 82,441 students successfully qualified.

 

The outstanding performance by students from both government and private schools showcased the dedication and hard work put into their studies. In the Class 12th examination, two students from government schools secured the first position in the Arts and Commerce streams, while the top student in the Science stream belonged to a private school.

 

Irtiza Manzoor, a student of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Zaribal, emerged as the topper in the Commerce stream, demonstrating remarkable academic prowess and commitment to excellence. Meanwhile, Mahveen Wani of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Amira Kadal topped the Arts stream, showcasing exceptional talent and creativity in her chosen field of study.

 

In the Science stream, Shahid Bashir from Fayaz Educational Institute Nowgam secured the first position, displaying a deep understanding of scientific concepts and a passion for the subject.

 

These outstanding students have not only brought glory to themselves but have also made their respective schools and teachers proud. Their achievements serve as an inspiration for fellow students to strive for excellence in their academic pursuits.

 

The BOSE officials expressed their satisfaction with the overall results and acknowledged the hard work of the students, along with the support and guidance provided by their teachers and families.
