Kupwara, Mar 29 (KNS):Tension prevailed in Khurhama village of Loblab after a body of a Seven-year-old girl with her throat slit was recovered from a shed in North Kashmir's Kupwara.
Reports reaching to KNS, said that Body of a 7 year old girl from Khurhama area of Zeban Lolab in north Kashmir's Kupwara district was recovered on Wednesday late evening.
An official said that the throat-slit body of the body of a minor girl was found in a shed nearby to her house. He said that her body was recovered from the spot and has been shifted to a nearby hospital for legal medical formalities.
Meanwhile police have also reached the spot and are investigating the cause of death. Family sources said that the deceased went missing since this evening from home
The victim's father while speaking to KNS said that minutes before evening, she came to me and i gave her some money to buy candies. "In the evening when I came back home, my family asked me about her whereabouts, since I have no idea, we started searching around," he said.
'We later made announcement on Majid loudspeaker, however we couldn't trace her," he said, adding later my daughter was found throat_slit in a shed close to my house. We want justice, my daughter has been murdered, he alleged.(KNS)
