Body of man drowned in Nallah Mawer fished out after two days

Srinagar, Mar 09 (KNS): The body of a man who slipped and drowned into Nallah Mawer in Kupwara district was fished out on Wednesday after two days.
 
An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that body of the man identified as Mohammad Amin Bhat son of Ghulam Mohi u Din Bhat of Langate who had drowned into the Nallah, has been retrieved. 
   
He said that after completion of all medico-legal formalities, body was handed over to the family for last rites. 
  
Police have already registered a case in this regard and are investigating the matter.
 
Notably, the man had drowned into the Nallah on March 07 when he had gone there to get the sand extraction tools back. (KNS)
