Bandipora, Nov 25 (KNS): Office of block medical officer Bandipora in this north Kashmir district was gutted in a massive blaze on Thursday evening, witnesses said here.

Eyewitness told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that massive fire broke out inside the office premises of BMO Bandipora, which is located in the old hospital building near Darul Uloom Raheemiya.

They said that soon after fire broke out inside the office premises, fire tenders were deputed to the spot to douse off the flames.

Meanwhile, BMO Bandipora said that the cause of fire was not known yet, however there was some blast which may have taken place due to gas cylinders kept their for heating purpose.

He said that half of the official record of the department was under the flames and the fire tenders were trying to douse off the flames. (KNS)
