Srinagar, Aug 15(KNS) : The block medical officer(BMO), Bandipora Dr Masrat Iqbal wani was Sunday awarded by District Administrattion Bandipora for his Best administration and hard work against Covid 19 Pendamic.

The BMO Bandipora Dr Masrat Iqbal wani was awarded by chairman District Development Council Bandipora Abdul Gani Bhat here at SK Stadium Bandipora on 
75th Independence-Day celebration. 

He has also been awarded by the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir P K Pole on his outstanding performance in fight against Covid-19. 

He has also achieved milestone of vaccinating the whole village in Bandipora District making it first in whole country following which he was appreciated across country. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his monthly 
Radio Program "Man Ki Baat" appreciated his efforts and advised other health officials to follow the same strategy. 

He is currently working on another milestone to achieve 100% vaccination in schools and colleges in Bandipora Block for which the frontline workers are on ground to achieve this milestone within shortest possible time. (KNS)
