Kupwara, September 22:(KNS) Block Development Office Qalamabad on Wednesday organized a farewell party in honour of the outgoing BDO Syed Nadeem. 

The outgoing officer, now transferred to South Kashmir was paid rich tributes by the employees and panchayat representatives for his successful administration of the affairs during his stint as BDO of the Qalamabad block. 

Meanwhile, on the occassion, the employees and panchayat members also welcomed Syed Jhangir Shah as newly appointed BDO to the three blocks, including Qalamabad, Qaziabad and Langate. 

Syed Nadeem apart from Qalamabad block was also overlooking Langate as Block Development Officer.

On the occasion the speakers, comprising ACD Kupwara Mehraj Din, DDC Mawer, BDO Sajad Khursheed Ah Dar, BDC Mawer Tahir BDC Qaziabad Bashir Ah Mir, , SHO Qalamabad Javid Ah, ZEO Mawer Mohd Maqbool, Panchayat Inspector M Shafi, speaker Fareed Khan, Nazir War, Gh Rasool Tali, Nazir Ahmad Wani MPWS and other guests made applause to the outgoing BDO for his honesty and dedication.

Ex BDO Qalamabad Syed Nadeem also extended his warm gratitude to his employees, panchayat members for their overwhelming send off and cooperation during his tenure. (KNS)
