BJP to hold national executive meeting in New Delhi today

Srinagar, Nov 07 (KNS): Ahead of state polls, the national executive meeting of the Bhartiya Janta Party is scheduled to be held in News Delhi today, reports said on Sunday.

Reports reaching Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP chief JP Nadda will attend the national executive meeting this morning.

Notably, this is the first national executive meeting of the BJP since pandemic broke, where the party will hold extensive discussions on the election strategy in five states that will go to polls next year.

Reports said that PM Modi is expected to deliver a key address at the meeting that will be attended by 124 national executive members. 

They said that several Chief Ministers and members from different states are also expected to join the meet virtually.

Reports also said that in view of the ongoing COVID-19 protocols, all state presidents, state general secretaries (organisation) and national executive members of the respective states will attend the meeting virtually from their respective state party offices. 

Notably, assembly elections will be held early next year in five states which include Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa and Manipur. (KNS)
