Srinagar, Sep 21 (KNS) BJP legislators on Monday staged a protest inside the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly as the autumn session began, raising demands related to NHM employees, power tariff hike and regularisation of daily wagers.
The BJP lawmakers displayed posters carrying messages such as "NHM Employees Ke Saath Insaaf Karo", "Power Tariff Rollback Karo" and "Regularisation of Daily Wagers", even as they raised the issues during the opening proceedings.

The protest comes amid the BJP's stated plan to raise employment, outsourcing, power tariffs and other issues during the Assembly session.
The Speaker, however, directed that the protest should not be recorded in the proceedings and should not be reported. (KNS)
