Srinagar, Mar 17 (KNS): Congress leader Kadfeen Choudhary on Sunday underscored the need for a united front against the divisive, treacherous and destructive agenda of the communal forces, stating that history would never absolve us if united front isn’t formed against such inharmonious policies.
He said that there are efforts needed to unite all political groups of the state to safeguard Jammu and Kashmir’s unique identity and special status.
He added that concrete measures are needed to unify all political parties in the state to protect Kashmir’s unique identity from any assault.
The Congress leader stated that the undeniable fact is that by taking such a stand, the political groups will become emblem of peoples aspirations in Jammu and Kashmir and it is hoped that saner voices will prevail and state is protected from plunging into chaos.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said that Jammu and Kashmir’s secular fabric is under serious threat and there are plans and conspiracies being hatched by the communal elements to create wedge between people on the bases of colour, creed and religion.
He added that never was the need so much felt to unite political groups of different ideologies as is being felt on ground today.
He added that such an endeavour will go a long way in safeguarding Jammu and Kashmir’s integrity and unity and will be marked as new chapter in making of the prosperous state. Kadfeen said that the need of the hour is to support the endeavour and rise above the party considerations and political affiliations so that any attempt aimed at diluting the special status of Jammu and Kashmir and undermining its integrity is foiled with unanimous and strong leadership.
