Srinagar December 18 (KNS): : BJP President Srinagar (specially abled persons), Sarpanch BJP and number of activists from Rangil area join hands with Ishfaq Jabbar in an event at Rangi Ganderbal. The new entrants include BJP President for specially abled persons Shabir Ahmad,BJP Sarpanch Rangil Gh Mohd Bhat, and activists Bashir Ahmad Bhat, Mohd Ashraf Bhat, Ab Rashid Bhat and Gh Ahmad Ganie.
Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar greeted the new entrants into the party fold. On this occasion he said, " I am sure your presence will strengthen the cadre further in the Fhaq area and I assure you that the i will extend my full support to your activities in terms of your social service.
Mt Jabbar while interacting with people and party workers at Tullamulla and Rangil Ganderbal said,"Some leaders always came to you to get your votes and after attaining power forgot their promises. Now, it is your responsibility to tell them enough is enough. You should not fall prey to their fake promises and emotional slogans anymore.
Mr Jabbar said, “I believe in politics of honesty. I never try to allure people through emotional ideologies. I want to see our youth prospering and thriving.
He said the matter of Article 370 is pending in Supreme Court and I wish the judgment in the matter should come as per the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir". Only the Supreme Court can help in restoration of article 370 other than that there is no other way, as we have just 5 parliament members.
He urged the his workers to enhance public outreach in order to make people aware of the his agenda and vision.
He asked the party cadre to keep identifying and highlighting the public issues in their respective areas so that these public issues could be brought to the notice of the concerned officials for quick redressal.
“People of Tullamulla have suffered a lot during the past years. But time has changed now. I will leave no stone unturned to put an end to the miseries of the people. I am here to wipe the tears from the eyes of the sufferers and give hope and a promising future to the young generation", added Jabbar.
Advocate Mudasir while addressing the public gathering urged people to join hands with Ishfaq Jabbar. He said, “We are one and we must understand that our unity is our strength. Our unity will enable us the power to ensure peace, prosperity, and the development of our area.
DDC Ganderbal Molvi Mohd Yousuf, Socio Political activist Sheikh Shafat, Fayaz Ahmad, Farooq Ahmad and others also spoke on the occasion.
Later Ishfaq Jabbar visited several places which include Dedrambagh, Buderkund and Barsoo to offer his condolences to the families of some prominent people who passed away.(KNS)
