BJP MLA Ranbir Pathania’s Insult to Armed Forces is Shameful – BJP Must Apologize to the Nation: Surinder Singh Channi

Srinagar,May 29 (KNS) : In a deeply shameful and condemnable statement, BJP MLA Ranbir Pathania has insulted the Indian Armed Forces by mocking their bravery during Operation Sindoor, stating:

“It must have been their incompetence, maybe they were sleeping… how is it our fault?”

This statement is not just disrespectful—it is an outright attack on the honor, dedication, and sacrifice of our jawans. Speaking in such a derogatory tone about our forces, especially after a sensitive national operation, is absolutely unforgivable.

Surinder Singh Channi, Vice President of the Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC), has strongly condemned Pathania’s statement and called it a reflection of BJP’s growing culture of disrespect towards the Army.

“Time and again, BJP leaders have shamelessly insulted our soldiers. From Madhya Pradesh to Jammu & Kashmir, their statements reflect arrogance, not nationalism.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelRanbir Pathania’s insult is not just his own—it reflects the mindset of a party that uses the Army for votes but disrespects their sacrifices.”

Channi further pointed out that no action was taken earlier when BJP leaders like Minister Vijay Shah and Deputy CM Jagdish Devda made similar offensive remarks. The silence from the BJP leadership is alarming.

Channi also demands An unconditional public apology from the BJP to the armed forces and the people of India.

“If BJP does not take action against Ranbir Pathania, this silence will be seen as Narendra Modi’s approval of the statement. Disrespecting the Army is not freedom of speech—it is treasonous behavior,” Channi said.

The Congress party, along with the people of Jammu & Kashmir and the entire nation, stands firmly with the Indian Armed Forces. Their valor is non-negotiable, their dignity is not up for debate.(KNS)
