Srinagar, Apr 10 (KNS): People's Democratic Front said that the highway ban for civilian vehicles for two days in a week is a "politically motivated" decision by the ruling BJP to achieve political mileage in view of parliamentary elections.

In a statement issued to KNS, PDF General Secretary Mir Abdul Qayoom asked that if the government has restricted movement of civilians on highway for two days in a week, does it indicate that for the rest of the week the life of the security personnel is not at risk or important for the ruling party.

"Home minister should answer whether the life of a security personnel is not important for rest of the five days when army vehicles move on the highway amid the movement of public traffic," he said, adding that the home minister ignored the demands of the Kashmiris people and instead favoured the continuation of ban.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
