Srinagar, Feb 28 (KNS): As the government has begun preparations for holding local bodies and Panchayat polls in the state as per schedule, the Bhartiya Janata Party has geared up for the polls.
The party said that it will contest local bodies and Panchayat elections in all the districts and Panchayat levels in the state.

We will contest in all seats at urban local body, Panchayat elections which will be held later this year,” Koul said. He claimed that BJP has registered 3 lakh memberships in the valley alone.
Ruling out any pre-poll alliance with any party, Koul said that the BJP will contest alone like it contested in Ladakh Hill council polls. (KNS)
