BJP expel its District president Bandipora on demanding, accepting 1 lakh to release jailed youth

 

 
 
Bandipora Apr, 21 (KNS): Bhartiya Janta Party on Thursday expelled it's District president of Bandipora Abdul Rahman Tekri on demanding and accepting 1 lac rupees to release jailed youth. 
 
In a communique signed by BJP President Ravinder Raina, a copy of which lies with Kashmir News Service (KNS) reads that Abdul Rehman Tikri, District president, BJP Bandipora is relieved off of his responsibilities as district president, BJP Bandipora and all other party responsibilities with immediate effect. 
 
The District President had demanded and accepted Rs 1 lakh from the woman namely Anjum Khursheed in lieu of releasing her incarcerated brother Aqib Khursheed from Jail. 
 
The police official said that FIR No. 64 under Section  420 IPC stands registered against the accused and investigations are underway and added that the money was also seized from the accused.(KNS)
