Ram Madhav says party wants Governor’s rule to manage situation

Srinagar, Jun 19 (KNS): After four years of rule, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday pulled out of its ruling alliance with the regional Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Jammu and Kashmir.
The decision was taken by the BJP party president, Amit Shah after holding meeting with the party ministers in the state.
Reports quoting BJP Jammu Kashmir in-charge, Ram Madhav said “the government miserably failed in the key objectives of the alliance: restoring peace in the state of Jammu and Kashmir and managing adequate development in all the three regions in the state.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel”
“Given the larger national interest of India and its sovereignty and integrity in mind, we have decided to pull out of the coalition and give the reigns of the power to the governor to control the prevailing situation,” Madhav told the media.
He said the party wants the governor’s rule to manage the situation.
He said the radicalisation, violence has witnessed an upsurge. He said with Shujaat Bukhari’s broad daylight killing, the freedom of speech is in danger. (KNS)
