Jammu December 25 (KNS) : Hitting out at BJP leader Tarun Chugh for his remark against Congress, NC and PDP over situation in Kashmir, Dr. Jahanzaib Sirwal, Spokesperson J&K Congress said that BJP needs to introspect for its misplaced Kashmir policy that has lead to communal enmity among the masses in Kashmir, which was never the case in the past.
According to a statement to KNS, reads that In an acerbic rejoinder to BJP leader, Dr Sirwal said that the harm which the so-called nationalist BJP has caused to Kashmir is reparable as it has devastated the age-old bonhomie and brotherhood among the communities for petty political gains and as far as establishing peace is concerned today no entity in the Valley is feeling safe as under directionless policies of BJP Government led by ‘self-praise specialist’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi every section is reeling under constant fear of targeted attacks and every time people are targeted in the Valley, the leadership of saffron brigade comes out with new a vocabulary to condemn and assure the people about restoring peace. He said that the Kashmir created by BJP in 2022 is dangerous than any other place in the world as under the regime of biggest political party of the world, no one is safe and people have developed enmity against each other, courtesy- the BJP Government, which is spitting venom on through its 24-hour active IT Cell.
He said that those BJP leaders who are acting as champions of Kashmir should first tell that where they have brought Kashmir as no one is feeling safe today and those employees who have left the valley due to targeted attacks are openly challenging the top leadership of saffron party to first visit Kashmir without security and then ask them to go back and work there. He questioned,“Is this what the BJP calls peaceful and progressive Kashmir”? He said, “1990s’ era has bygone, people of Kashmir today want to know what BJP has in offing for them. Whether BJP wants power in Kashmir for uncontrollable targeted killings, security persons outside every household or bulldozing houses for no valid reasons and justification?” The Congress leader said that under BJP regime, the centuries’ old communal harmony and brotherhood is on the verge of collapse in Kashmir and for that matter across the country because except power games, this party has no interest at all.
He said that J&K never saw such consecutive recruitment scams under NC, PDP or Congress regimes. “What is more shameful is the fact that those manning the administration are blaming others for the height of corruption in providing jobs to jobless youths who were never so helpless in the past under Congress or NC regimes”, he said adding that Chugh should first set his house right before raising fingers on others as more skeletons would come tumbling down out of the saffron brigade’s cupboard if full account of BJP Government’s misdeeds in Valley will be exposed.
