BJP brought entire Jammu under economic distress: Lal Singh

Jammu Deceber 17 (KNS): “The party which stormed to power on the slogans of ‘good governance’, ‘accountability’ and ‘Sabka saath sabka vikas’ has literally deprived Jammu of all its resources and the Youth has been put in crisis leading to acute depression and drug addiction.
According to a statement issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), reads, the state of J&K has been dismembered and reduced into two UT’s, something unseen and unheard in the history of India. No state in the country has ever been reduced to the status of Union Territory except J&K as a part of weird experimentation being conducted by the BJP govt treating the erstwhile state as a workshop. Not only that the people have been deprived of  elected govt  The proxy rule of centre has been imposed upon the people of J&K through a handful of obsequious bureaucrats and defanged experts requisitioned from other parts of the country and hardly having any stakes in the betterment of the UT or well being of its people”. This was stated by Ch.Lal Singh  and former Minister while addressing public meetings in village  Prangla in khour block of Jammu District.
Asserting that there was hardly any accountability or transparency in governance, Mr. Singh said that the system exhibited explicit signs of collapse with no takers for the voices of sanity fighting for justice, equity and fair play. Favouritism, nepotism and corruption had become the order of the day. While opposition continued to be hammered through the iron fist of police, the common man complaining of denial of civic amenities and other injustice was also being dubbed as anti-national.
General Secretary Dr Hari Dutt Shishu while addressing the gathering said that the entire economy of the state has collapsed, unemployment is at its peak, Youth is in utter frustration. Farmers, laborers, students and all others are under sheer financial distress and the only solution to this crisis is Jammu as a separate state with article 371.
Sr.Vice President  KD Singh Jamwal and Vice President Youth Divyansh Varma while addressing gave a clarion call to the people to rally behind DSSP and support Ch.Lal Singh to realize the long pending demand of Jammu as a separate state .
Prominent among others who attended included Prof.HR Sharma, Mrs Suman Wazir, Balbir Singh Azad, Raju Pahalwan, Paramveer Singh, Sandeep Singh District President Samba. Mr.Rahul Dogra, Block President Khour organised the rally .(KNS)
