BJP asks separatists to wind up their shops

Participation of people in I-Day celebrations encouraging

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday hailed the people for participating in the Independence- Day functions held across Kashmir.
In a statement to KNS, the BJP spokesman Khalid Jehangir said, “It’s encouraging to see people coming forward and taking part in the Independence Day celebrations. Huge participation of the people in I-Day functions should serve as an eye opener for the separatists and they should read the writing on the wall that people are no more interested in their (separatist) propaganda, and their days are numbered.”
The BJP spokesman said that path breaking initiatives taken by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and present regime in Jammu and Kashmir led by the PDP patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed have changed the perception of people and they are feeling the change on the ground.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel“Participation of people in I-Day celebrations is an ample proof about them yearning for a change and they being fed up of violence,” Jehangir added.
He said that separatists should “wind up their shops” and “stop selling the blood of Kashmiri youth.” “BJP is committed for equitable development of all the regions and wants people of all the regions to prosper. Times have changed and people have started endorsing and admiring the policies of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” Jehangir added. (KNS)
