Anatnag, Mar 03 (KNS): In a bizarre incident of its kind, around 14 additional answer sheets, provided to examination centres of class 10 examination last year, have gone missing from three examination centres in Anantnag, even as the Board of School Education has set up a committee to look into the matter. 

 
According to details available with Kashmir News Service (KNS), around 14 additional answer sheets have gone missing from three exam centres of government girls higher secondary school Anantnag and girls high school Khanabal. 
 
 As per BOSE rules, additional stationary which is provided to exam centres is to be returned to the BOSE by the superintendents of the concerned exam centres against proper data entry sheet. 
 
An official said that if the additional stationary including answer sheets, which are provided to these exam centres, remain unused are to be returned back to the BOSE. 
 
However, sources said that around 14 additional answer sheets from three exam centres in Anantnag have gone missing. 
 
Meanwhile, when contacted joint secretary Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education, Aijaz Hakeem told KNS that some discrepancies were found in some centres after these exam centres returned the additional stationary provided to them including the additional answer sheets. 
 
He, however, said that a committee has been set up in this regard and they are investigating the matter to find out as to why these answer sheets have gone missing. (KNS)
