Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (R) Chairman Farooq Ahmad Dar (Bita Karate) paid rich tributes to Showkat Ahmed Mir (Handjan) on his fifth anniversary, the front’s chairman said in a statement.
He said that Showkat was killed on 13th September 2010 near Humhama while protesting against the desecration of Holy Quran in America and in some western countries.
In a statement issued to KNS, Bita Karetey said: “We pay our heartfelt homage to those who laid their precious lives to uphold the sanctity of holy Quran.”
