Ridiculing the malicious propaganda of National Conference against coalition government, PDP General Secretary Nizamudin Bhat Saturday said that despite NC’s backlog the state of J&K is back on rails.
In a statement to KNS He said, “PDP had a challenging task of getting the state out of mess created by entrenched corruption, degeneration of institutions, sick economy, financial liabilities and complete non governance. Just in five months the damaged infrastructure is being restored fast and respect for institutions has shown a visible increase. Similarly corruption is being controlled through government’s performance and clean image.”
“Like in early stint in 2002 the patient and careful handling of affairs by the visionary leadership of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, the state is back on a viable economic activity, administrative reformation and political stability. The harmonious growth of all the regions on ideal democratic principles of equality and equitable participation is key to this visible change. It is this improvement in governance which comes as a dislike to non performer adversaries of PDP and they have become habitual of raising the boggy of regional and communal disharmony,” Bhat said.

Bhat hoped that PDP will work hard for Indo-Pak amity, to transform J&K State into a peace zone ensuring the hassle free economic activity and reconciliatory an inclusive political system. “It is the dream of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and his party to seek the accomplishment of this goal through political process based on dialogue and reconciliation. In near future state will witness a considerable change on both developmental and economic front which will itself undo a baseless propaganda unleashed by desperate and rejected political outfits,” the PDP leader said.
Meanwhile, PDP has expressed deep concern over the loss of property due to cloudburst in Sangerwani Rajpora Pulwama and demanded immediate relief to the effected.
The PDP leaders including Nizamudin Bhat, Adv Ab Gani Dar district president Pulwama, MLA Pulwama Mohammad Khalil Bandh, Political Analyst to CM Waheed Ur Rehman have expressed shock over the damage and urged the government to immediately depute the officials for relief and rehabilitation work.
