Srinagar, Jan 11 (KNS): President J&K Awami National Conference (ANC) Begum Khalida Shah and Senior Vice President Muzaffar Shah spoke to J&K People's Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti over the phone & enquired about her well-being following the major car accident near Anantnag district.
As per a statement released by the ANC leaders, they expressed relief that Mehbooba Mufti and her accompanying staff escaped unhurt from what they described as a "dreadful" crash earlier in the day.
Begum Khalida and Muzzafar Shah congratulated Ms Mehbooba Mufti on the miraculous escape.(KNS)
