Bandipora, Dec 10 (KNS): A bear was captured alive by a team of Wildlife Department in Kehnusa village of north Kashmir's Bandipora district on Saturday afternoon, officials said here.
An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the bear was seen roaming in the village by locals, who immediately informed the Wildlife Department.
He said soon after getting the information, a team was rushed to the spot and after hectic efforts bear was captured alive.
Meanwhile, locals said they heaved a sigh of relief as the animal was roaming in the area for the last several days. (KNS)
