Uri, Jan 24 (KNS): Beacon authorities on Sunday carried out a special drive in Pandit Colony Sheeri of north Kashmir's Baramulla and used urea and salt on roads.
An official told KNS that a special drive was carried out by Beacon authorities in order to minimise the accidents in veiw of slippery roads due to snow.
He said during drive several accidental prone zones were identified and were addressed using Urea and Salt to avoid any incident.
The drive was however hailed by travellers who thanked authorities for taking up the initiative.(KNS)
