Baramulla police bust fake job racket, 5 including two constables of railway protection force arrested 

 

Baramulla, Feb 22 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir police on Monday said that they have busted a fake job racket in Baramulla by arresting five persons including two constables of Railway Protection Force and recovered forged appointment orders from their possession. 

In a statement to KNS, a spokesperson said that on a specific information police station Baramulla arrested five persons namely Hafizulla Lone son of Ghulam Hassan Lone, ther-ul-Islam son of Abdul Samad Lone-0 both residents of Diver Lolab, Ashiq Hussain Naik son of Ghulam Nabi Naik, a resdient of Kralgund, Kulgam, AAjaz Ahmad Lone son of Abdul Gani Lone, a resident of Tujar Sharif, Sopore  and Abdul Rashid Wani son of Abdul Aziz Wani,  a resident of Nagbal Khag area of Budgam with fake and forged appointment orders in Agriculture Department.

He said that a criminal case under FIR NO 17/2021 u/s 420,467,468,471/IPC has been registered against them. 

"During the course of investigation it came to fore that a gang is operating from Srinagar, Budgam, Baramulla including two constables of Railway Protection Force Budgam were running a fake job racket and duped many persons and collected hefty amounts." 

He said that three fake orders have been seized so for from their possession while investigation of the case is going on and further arrests and recoveries are expected. (KNS)
