Baramulla, Apr 16 (KNS): Aiming to promote environmental sustainability and foster community awareness, the Rise Up Youth Foundation, in collaboration with the JV Forest Division Baramulla, organised a major plantation drive at Kalay ban on Thursday.
The event witnessed active participation from students of Government Middle School Kalay Ban, who turned up in large numbers, displaying immense enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility towards building a greener future.
The drive was conducted in the presence of distinguished officials, including the SHO of Sheeri and Block Officer Ajaz of the Forest Department, besides other forest officials.

Representing the Rise Up Youth Foundation, Chairman Anush Khan, Secretary Danish Shafi, and Joint Secretary Akram Khan oversaw the execution of the event. The initiative, officials said, reflects a collective effort to channel youth energy into environmental protection and strengthen the grassroots connect on the importance of tree plantation. (KNS)
