Srinagar, May 10 (KNS): Authorities are likely to suspend Banihal-Baramulla railway services in Kashmir Valley in view of rise in the number of covid-19 cases in JK. 

Official sources told KNS that the order to suspend the services will be issued today.

The decision has been taken in view of the huge rush of passengers at stations which could lead to a surge in Covid cases.

Yesterday, JK reported 5190 cases, taking the total tally to 216932 while 54 people died due to the virus.(KNS)
