Bandipora, June 19 (KNS): As part of Swarnim Vijay Varsh to commemorate 50 years of glorious victory in 1971 war, Bandipora RR under the aegis of Manasbal Sector organised an Online Debate, Drawing and Quiz Competition for the children of Army Goodwill School, Bandipora.

In a statement, a spokesperson said that the Competition provided a good platform for children to showcase their creativity as also a much needed outlet for their feelings during the prevailing pandemic. 

“The participants were given three hours to draw and submit their entries. A total of 40 students of different classes showcased their abilities. The entries were judged by the teachers and winners were declared via video conferencing.”

It reads that the parents were elated to know that their children were able to participate in extracurricular activities even during the current lockdown. “They remarked that such initiatives provide a much needed distraction during these tough times and should be continued in the future as well.”(KNS)
