Bandipora, Dec 12 (KNS) : Bandipora Police has intensified its drive to ensure road safety and promote regulatory compliance by launching a special enforcement campaign across the district. The initiative specifically targets vehicles that have not been transferred in the name of the new owner after purchase, as well as vehicles bearing outside-state registration numbers found plying without valid or complete documentation.

During the checking operations, multiple vehicles were intercepted and thoroughly verified. Vehicles found lacking mandatory ownership-transfer documents or other essential papers were seized on the spot. Bandipora Police has urged all vehicle owners to complete necessary transfer formalities immediately after purchasing a vehicle and to carry all valid documents while driving. The special enforcement drive will continue in the coming days as part of an ongoing effort to curb traffic violations and documentation lapses.
