Bandipora Police seized five tractors ferrying illegally extracted Bajri

Bandipora, August 31 (KNS): Bandipora Police on Tuesday seized five tractors ferrying illegally extracted Bajri in Nadihal village of North kashmir's Bandipora District.

 As per the statement issued to Kashmir News Service, cracking down the whip on the illegal extraction of minerals in the area, a specific naka was established in Nadihal by SHO Aragam under the supervision of DySP PC Bandipora.

"During the naka checking, five tractors ferrying illegally extracted bajri and sand have been seized, it added.

The statement further reads that case bearing FIR No 34/2021 of PS Aragam u/s 379 IPC, 21(1)4(1/1 A) MMRD act has been registered and further investigation is underway in this regard.More action is expected in this regard in the coming days.(KNS)
