Bandipora Hospital Introduces Free Services for Specially-Abled Individuals

Bandipora, November 4 (KNS): In a move towards inclusivity and accessibility, the District Hospital Bandipora has announced a range of free services dedicated to specially-abled individuals.

A Circular issued by the Medical Superintendent said the initiative aims to provide comprehensive support for individuals with physical and cognitive challenges.

According to the circular the newly introduced free services include Designated parking spaces at no cost for specially-abled individuals, any required registration process will be conducted free of charge, Investigative services and assessments will be available without cost and Specially-abled individuals will receive priority in queues, appointments, and access to all services.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

The hospital’s Medical Superintendent stated that this initiative seeks to foster a supportive and respectful environment for all patients.

“By removing financial and logistical barriers, the District Hospital Bandipora reaffirms its commitment to inclusive healthcare”.

Meanwhile, the local civil society members welcomed the announcement, viewing it as a progressive step towards equal access to medical services for specially-abled individuals. (KNS)
