Bandipora girl writes Quran by hand on 900 pages in 6 months

Bandipora, Dec 09 (KNS): Arbeen Tahir hailing from Hajin village of north Kashmir's Bandipora district, writes manuscript of holy quran book in six months by hand on nine hundred pages, and made her parents proud.

Arbeen Tahir daughter of Tahir Ahmed Parray is studying in 11th class at Govt higher secondary school Hajin Bandipora. Speaking to the Kashmir News Service (KNS), she said that she have written hold quran book with her hand in just six months. “It was my dream from my childhood to write Quran Shareef by hand, and Alhudulliah, I finished writing the compelete Quran-i- Shareef on nine hundred pages in six months," she said.

Arbeen said initially she started the calligraphy work only to improve his handwriting. She started with a chapter of the Quran and found joy by doing so following which he decided to finish calligraphy of the entire Quran.

She further said that the first project he undertook was completed in Six months without guidance of any professional trainer. "This handwritten Quran comprises Nine hundred Pages," she added.

"My family supported me whole heartedly in the procedure. I would like to thank my cousin, Dr, Seerat Wani, who is my inspiration and she helped me and strengthened my moral compass,” she added 

"My message to all both boys and girls those struggling and especially to the youth, in life you will go through many ups and downs and to improve your chances on the path of success, and determination to succeed, along with keeping faith in your abilities, which would enable you to overcome and clear any obstacle life throws at you," she added.(KNS)
