Bandipora, July 09 (KNS): Authorities on Friday sealed a petrol storage unit at Poshwari Hajin area of North Kashmir's Bandipora District and cancelled license.

  According to officials,  the owner was  misusing  license and was selling petroleum products to consumers through self mode retail outlet in contravention act, rules and their were many complaints against him.

On the bases of complaints, a Commitee of officers comprising of Assistant Director FCS& CA Bandipora, Assistant controller Legal Metrological and concerned tehsildar was constituted and the committee today visited the said spot point wherein owner was found violating   the norms following which the unit was sealed on spot.

However, according to officials Compulsory notices were dispatched to the owner from time to time.

 "with no satisfactory response received so far, the storage unit has been sealed and the license cancelled till further directions by District Magistrate", official added.(KNS)
