JKCSF demands  decision of ban be revoked to uphold the religious sanctity of Muslims

Srinagar July 16:(KNS)   Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum headed by Qayoom wani has expressed strong resentment against the Government's ban on sacrifice of bovine animals on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.  in a statement, issued here on Friday Chairman JKCSF Abdul Qayoom Wani said that it is surprising that sacrifice of bovine animals on the religious occasion of Eid is being termed illegal and  disallowed under the garb of prevention of cruelty to animals Act.
 
Wani said that banning of bovine animals on the occasion of Eid Ul Azha was interference in the religious duty of Muslims and it is against the secular traditions democracy.
 
" JKCSF chairman termed this order senselessl,arbitary and against the senments of muslim umma in genral and muslim majority  state of J&K in particular 
 
JKCSF has demanded that this decisions should be revoked at an earliest to uphold the religious sanctity of Muslims.(KNS)
