Srinagar, Sep 25 (KNS): Earlier this month on 17 September, to commemorate 400th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib 10th ninth Guru of Sikhs book Titled “Shining Sikh Youth of India “authored by Dr Prabhleen Singh Administrative officer of Punjabi University Patiala was jointly released by Rajnath Singh Defence Minister of India and Hardeep Singh Puri Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister of India at DRDO Bhawan.
This book has covered 100 Shining Sikh Youth of India, and put Jammu Kashmirs known face of Sikh community, Baldev Singh Raina, Chairman of PHDCCI, and Chairman at Peaks Auto-Mobiles among the 100 "Shining Sikh Youth of India".
The book covers 100 inspirational and motivational success stories of Sikh youth in India who have done exemplary work in their respective fields and Baldev Singh Raina made it for both India and Kashmir.
Baldev Singh Raina is valley-based businessman and Chairman of PhD Chamber of Commerce-Kashmir chapter. He has been named among top 100 Sikh personalities in a book 'Shining Sikh Youth of India. Raina, who is MD and Chairman of Peaks Group of Companies, received another feather in his cap, as he also received earlier the felicitation by the Vice President Venkaiah Naidu at a function held for release ceremony of the book Prominent Sikhs of India' being named among top 50 Sikh personalities of India, which was released on the occasion of the 550th birth celebrations of Guru Nanak Dev.
Hailing from Rafiabad area of Baramulla district, Raina has achieved huge success in
business due to his untiring efforts and hard work.
Apart from his core business of Automobiles, Singh has also excelled in agriculture, housing and development, manufacturing and construction businesses.
Raina has been also actively participating in social and welfare activities. He was recently awarded by Punjabi University Patiala for his social and welfare services.
Earlier, he has got space in Limca Book of World Records.
Raina said that, the entire I give to my dedicated team, my people of Jammu and Kashmir and to valuable customers, for putting their trust on me, he said.
