Kathua, Jul 13 (KNS): Founder of Democratic Movement and former Power Minister, Babu Singh expressed his serious concern and grief over the killing of Kashmiri people in Kashmir who are protesting against the encounter of Burhan Wani.
He in a statement issued to KNS heartily deplored the loss of precious human lives and expressed sympathies with injured.
Singh said, the J&K state again heading towards extraordinary situation and dangerous upheaval, turmoil and mass alienation. This dangerous and alarming situation of Kashmir if not normalized can push entire J&K state into a protracted civil war and deadly INDO-PAK military conflict, Singh added. Babu Singh strongly demands from center and state governments to stop mass killing and tackle the Kashmiri protestors democratically and politically.
The current upheaval, unrest, volatile situation and militancy in the state are not new one but it is rooted in the 1947 communal partition of India and historical-political trilateral dispute of JK (INDIA, PAKISTAN and J&K) since 1947.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Singh said until and unless, the fundamental cause of alienation, unrest, turmoil, peaceful-violent protests and militancy in J&K is addressed i.e. trilateral JK dispute, it is out of question to achieve permanent peace and stability.
Babu Singh further reacted that terrorism and militancy is not the basic problem but it is the offshoot and outcome of the J&K trilateral political dispute.
History and time demands, a just, rational, permanent and compromising solution of the JK trilateral dispute which reconcile the genuine interests of Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan and India, he said.
Singh demanded from the state and center governments to revisit the unreal and faulty JK policy which has been proved counterproductive so far and immediately start the dialogue with Kashmiri people, their organizations and separatists also in order to normalize the present dangerous situation.
Singh further demands to initiate a meaningful trilateral dialogue for just and permanent solution of JK dispute. (KNS)
