Jammu, Jan 14 (KNS): Democratic Azad Party Chief Ghulam Nabi Azad on Friday evening attended the Lohri festival organsied by Brahma Kumari Ashram at Om Shanti Meditation Center in Jammu today. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Azad said Lohri was one of the pious and important festivals of north India, signifying the end of winter season. He wished the people of the J&K (UT) a happy and prosperous Lohri. He said the various festivals of India is uniting the country with colours of diversity and we all need to respect and celebrate with each other. Mr Azad further said, the Brahma Kumaris organization is moving ahead in the work of bringing love, peace and brotherhood all over the world.

“Dedicating your life for the welfare of the society is the true service of the society and Brahma Kumaris sisters are doing this service,” Mr Azad said. Rajyogini BK Sudarshan Didi (Incharge Brahmakumaris JK/Ladakh) wished all the guests Happy Lohri and made them feel peaceful through Raja Yoga practice.
