Expressing deep concern over the humanitarian situation, Azad said the plight of civilians displaced and affected by the violence remains deeply troubling. He stressed the urgent need to scale up humanitarian assistance and ensure that aid reaches all those in need without delay.
Azad further underlined that achieving lasting peace would require patience, restraint and sustained diplomatic efforts. He called upon all parties to act with responsibility and wisdom to ensure that the suffering witnessed in recent weeks is not repeated. (KNS)
