New Delhi, October 09 (KNS): Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad Friday congratulated his party men for being conferred best legislature awards for the year 2014.
Azad congratulated legislator G. M Saroori, former MLA and present State Congress chief Ghulam Ahmed Mir and former MLA Mohammad Sharief Niaz on being conferred with best legislature award for the year 2014 and the letters of appreciation respectively by the government of Jammu & Kashmir.
The awards have been recommended by the 'Best Legislator Award' Committee of the House.
"I am very proud of the excellent work Saroori is doing across the state. His noble efforts have always created a major impact," Azad said.
"I am extremely happy to know that the government of J&K has conferred one of its highest legislature honours — 'Best legislator award' upon you, making you the first from Chenab Valley ever to receive this award," Azad said in his message to Saroori.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
"This important recognition is testimony to the immense service rendered by you over the years for the peace, progress, humanity and development of the state especially erstwhile Doda district," he added.
Azad also congratulated Mir and former MLA Bhaderwah, Niaz, on being conferred with letters of appreciation for legislators for the years 2012 and 2013 respectively.
