Srinagar, Jan 30 (KNS): Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad has condoled the passing away of Former Governor of J&K and Former Chief of Army Staff Gen (Retd) K.V.Krishna Rao.
Recalling his exemplary services to the nation, Azad said that Gen Rao’s contribution as Former Governor of Jammu & Kashmir and Former Army Chief will be remembered for years to come.
Azad said that Gen Rao was an outstanding military leader who met all the challenges and external threats that the nation faced during his service career with courage, fortitude and devotion.

Leader of Opposition described Gen Rao as a man of sharp intellect and proven administrative capabilities.
Ghulam Nabi Azad prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and grant of enough strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss. (KNS)
