Srinagar, August 05 (KNS): Senior Congress leader and Leader of Opposition Rajya Sabha, Shri Ghulam Nabi Azad, has strongly condemned the attack by Pakistani militants on a bus carrying BSF personnel near Simroli, Udhampur on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway, in which two BSF personnel were killed and 11 injured.
“I congratulate the local police and Village Defence Committee members for their exemplary courage to nab one militant alive. This amply indicates the people are no more ready to bear such cowardly acts” said Azad.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Azad expressed his grief on the loss of lives and sympathised with the bereaved families.
Ghulam Nabi Azad also condemned another incident of bomb blast which took place in a middle school at Ganderbal area in which two young boys have lost their lives reportedly and some have received splinter injuries. “I am deeply shocked to learn that heartless militants do not spare even young children studying in educational institutions” said Azad.
