Baramulla, Jan 28 (KNS): The Department of Animal Husbandary Kashmir today organized a day long awareness camp on Artifical Insemination and other related breeding methodologies at Government Higher Secondary School, Pattan.
The programme was organized under Rashtriya Gokul Mission (RGM), the Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr G N Itoo was chief guest on the occasion, while Joint Director Animal Husbandry, Ramesh Razdan was guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that every possible initiative will be taken to augment the milk production in the district for the benefit of farmers associated with the dairy sector.

The camp witnessed the overwhelming participation of farmers from Pattan and adjoining areas.
SDM Pattan, Chief Animal Husbandry Baramulla, Chief Agriculture Officers, other concerned officers were present on the occasion. (KNS)
