Srinagar, May 22: Thanking people from different walks of life for Making Hafta Shadat a success and observing a complete shutdown on May 21 to pay homage to Shaheed-e-Millat, Mirwaiz Moulvi Muhammad Farooq, Martyrs of Hawal, Shaheed-e-Hurriyat, Abdul Gani Lone, and all the martyrs of Jammu Kashmir, Jammu Kashmir Awami Majlis-e-Amal Sunday said that people have shown their involvement toward the ongoing resistance movement of Kashmir.
Condemning the imposition of curfew and house arrest of the AAC chief, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq for the past three days and stopping him from performing his religious and political obligations, arrest and house arrest of the party’s office bearers, raids and crackdown on the houses of the party workers, the spokesman said this was a defeat of the ruling dispensation that used to make tall claims of the right to freedom of expression
The Spokesman said the ruling class was keeping the international community in dark on Kashmir although in reality New Delhi and its collaborators in Kashmir had been frustrated, which proves that no resistance struggle has ever been suppressed by using oppressive tactics.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The spokesman condemned the use of force for foiling the rally organised by Jammu Kashmir Awami Majlis-e-Amal and arrest of dozens of party’s office bearers and workers and said such tactics cannot weaken the resolve of the people for carrying the resistance movement forward. (KNS)
