Srinagar, Apr 24 (KNS): J&K Anjuman Sharie Shian’s Advocate Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi strongly denounced the execution of the Sheikh Muhammad Abdul Ghani Al Atiyya , (Dean of Faculty of English Studies Jeddah University) by the al-Saudi family after a mock trial and called it a flagrant violation of human rights.

In a statement issued to KNS, Aga said the execution of Sheikh Muhammad Abdul Ghani Al Atiyaa and others, “who had no means other than speech to pursue his political and religious objectives, only shows the depth of imprudence and irresponsibility.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel”

Aga added “executing prisoners in mass only further stains Saudi Arabia's troubling human rights record. We hope that the voice of moderation and political settlements would prevail.” (KNS)
