Srinagar, Sep 19 (KNS): The authorities on Monday slapped Public Safety Act (PSA) on Hurriyat (G) chief spokesman, Ayaz Akbar and JKLF leader Noor Mohd Kalwal and shifted them to Kotbolwal jail in Jammu.
Sources told KNS that Ayaz Akbar who continued to remain under detention since more than two months was shifted to Jammu jail after authorities slapped PSA on him.
Ayaz was lodged at Parimpora wherefrom he was shifted to Srinagar’s central jail following which he was shifted to G Os mess Humhama.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He was detained two months back in view of the current uprising in Kashmir. “Today, the authorities slapped PSA on him and shifted him to Kot Bolwal jail in Jammu,” sources said.
Notably, Hurriyat (G) general secretary, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, Hurriyat leader, Altaf Shah, JKLF leader, Showkat Bakhshi, Noor Muhammad Kalwal also languishes at G Os mess wherefrom Ayaz was shifted to Kot bolwal today. (KNS)
