Srinagar, Mar 3 (KNS): Almost 88 families flood hit families living in government quarters in Bemina area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district said that the authorities failed to rehabilitate them as they didn’t receive any relief from the state or the central government so far.
The employees of Family Welfare Committee (FWC) who were awarded with the government quarters got affected in 2014 deluge but so far were ignored by the state administration in the relief and rehabilitation process.
While talking to KNS over phone, President of Family Welfare Committee, Mushtaq Ahmad Mir said that the authorities assured them that the relief will also be given to them but the promises turned hoax as nothing has been given to them so far.
“We are continuously pleading before higher ups in this regard but to no avail,” he said, adding that the Governor should personally intervene into the matter and should redress the problems of the families who have not received any relief cheque so far.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
