Kupwara December 26:(KNS) Assistant Labour Commissioner Kupwara wish to sincerely thank District Administration Kupwara, especially Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Anshul Garg (IAS) Additional Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, CEO/Secretary J&K Building & other Construction workers welfare Board, the Police Department especially Senior Superintendent of Police Kupwara Handwara, Chief Education Officer Kupwara, Principal and Headmasters of all
Govt High and Higher Secondary schools across length and breadth of Kupwara, officials of the Labour Department especially Ab Aziz, M. Ashraf, Naseer Ah and Jahangir Hasan (DEO's) and also NYC Employees for making file submission process at Block level a grand success. The file submission process started on 06.11.2020 at all designated High and Higher Secondary schools of District to dovetail the process of submission a District level programme for reaching people especially BOC workers at ground level was envisaged with prior approval of worthy Deputy Commissioner Kupwara and file submission process received a huge response from poor labours, who appreciated this effort for making process a simpler and feasible for construction workers. During the file submission process Labour Department Kupwara teams constituted for the purpose reached to every nook and corner of District and collected assistance files from Boc Workers, renewal fee from their actual locations, thereby saving their money, time and effort, they would have put in to reach District headquarters and remain in long queues for days together. It is pertinent to mention here that during the entire process 14226 Registered Workers have submitted the Education Assistance files and around 2133 have been registered since inception of file submission
process. It would be also in place to mention here that around 322 construction workers whose registrations had become null and void due to nonpayment of renewal fee have been condoned under Mission Mode Project of the Department from 6.11.2020 to 24.12.2020.
The submission process is likely to culminate on 15.01.2021 and this office will continue to receive files in Kupwara office, after which the process will be closed.
