Srinagar, Nov 12 (KNS): The aspirant doctors who have applied for Lecturer posts in SKIMS Medical College Bemina have welcomed the Government’s decision to shift the interview venue back to Kashmir.
In a statement to KNS, the aspirants said they are thankful to the PDP President Mehbooba Mufti for her personal intervention and the Chief Secretary in shifting back the venue.
“The timely intervention of Mehbooba Mufti saved us from wasting our time and resources to travel to Jammu. Her intervention also saved the patientcare from getting affected,” they said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
SKIMS College Bemina had advertised posts for lecturers against various advertisements in the last three years, and were postponing their interviews time and again. Recently, SKIMS authorities had decided to hold the interviews in Jammu which the aspirants called arbitrary.
The government has now decided to hold the interview in Srinagar later this month.
The aspirants have thanked the doctors and people who supported their demand of shifting the venue to Kashmir. (KNS)
