Army rescues maruti vehicle from nallah in Sohipura Kupwara

Kupwara 01 May (KNS) : Army on Saturday rescued a maruti alto vehicle that had skidded off into a stream in sohipora area of north Kashmir's Kupwara.

 Reports reaching to Kashmir News Service (KNS) that a Maruti Alto bearing number JK05E1697 skidded off the road and fell into Nala at Sohipura village. 

Soon after the incident army recieved a call from Abdul Qadus and immediately a team of Jugtial Company rushed to the site and rescued passengers with the help of localities present there. 

The passengers were evacuated and medical aid was given to them by the medical team.

Humdard-E-Kupwara Battalion immediately despatched a recovery vehicle with recovery team to the site and recovered the alto car from the nallah. 

Meanwhile the timely action by the Unit was appreciated by the locals and the driver and expressed their gratitude towards Army’s earnest endeavour, quick response and timely assistance. (KNS)
